I love life...NEW PIC

Here I was beating myself up b/c I didn't stay on a stringent plan...and then my student sends me this photo...when I saw this pic which was just taken Saturday, July 17 I now think as long as I eat circa 2,000 calories a day and keep up with the running and p90 lifting stuff...I AM AWESOME!

Now if someone would tell my brain to stop trying to sabotage me, it would be mighty nice.

Personal Motivation / Goal: ...NO ALCOHOL...it was Week 178 and beyond, have to add 52 more weeks at least....so Week 230 and beyond to 1001

Starting weight: 311 lbs
Current weight: 187 lbs

You are indeed awesome. Look at those arms. Not a batwing in sight. I'm guessing the sabotaging brain has to do with the fact that if you've dieted a lifetime, it's hard to stop and accept that you finally GOT IT!! And sistah, YOU GOT IT!! Love you....

Wow - that is exactly it. Man I am about to cry...I hadn't even realized that. Jeanne you just hit it, I don't know any other way to be but be on a diet. Even in the "fat" stages you are always in some way thinking about when you are going to diet, or say I am going to diet, then don't.

I know my earliest diet was about 4th grade, if not earlier. I know 4th grade was when my mom put me on one...so from age 9 to now always striving to be the "right weight"...I do have it in the range it should be.
